Packet Pick Up
Packet pick-up and on-site registration will be in the main ballroom of the Lake Mohawk Country Club. You may PICK-UP YOUR RACE PACKET on Wednesday, Nov. 25th from 5-8 p.m. OR Thursday morning from 7- 8 a.m. Check-in ends at 8 a.m. on race day.
There are no guarantees that there will be t-shirts available if you wait to register on Wednesday or Thursday!
Pasta Party
All registered participants are invited to the Pasta Party, catered by Villa Capri II, on Wednesday, Nov. 26th in the main
ballroom at Lake Mohawk Country Club. Registered runners are free and guests are only $5. Aafter you pick up your Bib & T-Shirt, stop by for some carb-loading and meet the competition!
Race Day
Packet pick up and registration will continue in the morning from 7-8 am. We encourage all participants to pre-register, but for those procrastinators, you can still register the morning of the race from 7-8 a.m.
Race-day registration is $40 for Adult 5K, $35 for Youth 5K 17 yr or younger, $25 for the Fun Run. We do not have a maximum number of runners. All are welcome. Please be sure to bring cash, check, or credit card. T-shirts are only as supplies last!
Race Start
- The Fun Run will start at 8:15 a.m. All participants will receive a t-shirt (while supplies last) and a medal at the completion of the run.
- The 5K will begin at 8:45 a.m. Each registered participant will receive a goody bag and a t-shirt – while supplies last.
Course Rules and Regulations
The most important rule is to have fun!
This is an out and back course so we kindly ask all walkers and participants with dogs and strollers to stay to the right. Walkers and those with dogs and strollers should start at the end of the pack to allow runners a clear field and minimize collisions.
Please respect your fellow runners and volunteers and do not turn around early or cut in the course as this will cause problems at the end with the timers and delay the results.
All runners, walkers, trotters must be registered and wear a bib. No BANDITS please! “Banditting” is running a race without registering. This is a fundraising event and the proceeds are used to support Sparta Schools.

Below is a list of available parking lots on race day. Please pay attention to posted signs and do not park where prohibited.
